"After joining the Kingswood practice of Stacey Watts & Hawkins as a trainee accountant in January 1986, I worked for them for just over ten years until March 1996. Subsequently I worked in four different practices, ranging from a small firm with two partners, to another which was then the eighth largest in the world.

It was in December 1998 that I passed my finals and in March 2002,
I returned to Stacey Watts & Hawkins as the new Principal. One of my first tasks was to incorporate into the business the best features of each of the firms I had worked with.

As a General Practitioner, I cover all areas of taxation, audit and accountancy, and I can call upon specialist help whenever necessary to solve my clients' problems.

I am a committee member of the Chartered Accociation of Certified Accountants Bristol members' network and also sit on the national practioners network panel.

Outside work, I am a keen family man with a wife and three sons. Having grown up in a garage, I also have a life-long interest in motor cars and I race BRISCA F2 stock cars under the number 616.
I am also secretary to the TVR car club."

Annette Ogden

Annette has passed the exams of the Association of Accounting technicians. She previously worked as a management accountant for an electrical retailer.

Her role within the practice is bookkeeping and VAT compliance on behalf of clients. She provides incomplete records support and acts as the auditing senior. Fluent in Italian.

Sandra Morris

Fellow of the Association of Accounting Technicians, she has been with the firm for 20 years specialising in pension fund accounting.

Pension fund accounting is a particularly technical field in the world of accountancy and the firm has been a major player in the market, particularly given Bristol's major role in the UK pensions industry, since Pension funds were regulated in the early eighties.

Jackie Hayes

Jackie has worked in accountancy for five years. She runs the payroll department and handles all clients' payroll calculations and queries.

John Case

John joined us as a trainee in 2007. He is currently studying to become a fellow of the association of accounting technicians. He works on incomplete records.
